“Passages” is the second installment of my “Travelogue” series, which documents and catalogues my recent travels in China and Western Europe. While on the road, I repeatedly noticed distinct geometric light forms—illuminations that enlivened a flat surface or void. These voids look like evanescent portals to imaginary dimensions of space. “Passages” presents these light forms as a series of digital photographs and as video projections. “Passages” offers beginnings, endings, and experiences rooted in both the material and immaterial points in between.
